This is the first of a few blog posts which are going to be scheduled because I am going away for a month but I will be trying to do current posts too about my travel make up and such!
This post is a just a shortie to say I can't get this colour off my nails this summer! Its on my fingers and toes; whenever I go to redo them they just end up looking the same, oops! And the special colour is...
Pink Punch by Models Own from the Neon collection! You can find it for £5 here. I love the neon collection and own all five polishes, mainly because they glow in UV light so are great for nights out. This particular favourite is called Pink Punch but is definitely a bright peachy orange. One thing I do notice with the neon collection is they tend to go gloppy quicker than other Models Own polishes but this may be because I use them so much! Apart from that these polishes glide on nails and dry pretty quickly. They do have quite a matte finish so I like to use a clear top coat to finish them off.
Whats your favourite nail colour for summer?

Skincare Shake Up!
As we all know I can't resist shopping and as a result over the last month or so I've managed to acquire a whole new skincare routine! Now this isn't going to be a review as I've only recently brought these new products into play so this is more of a overview and update.
My new morning routine starts with the L'oreal Skin Perfection Soothing Gel-cream Wash (£2.99 here) which I'm finding lovely and soothing. Next I use the famous La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ (£15.50 here) which I've heard is great for treating redness and acne scars. To moisturise I use the new Clarins HydraQuench Lotion SPF 15 (£35 here) then as before I use the Simple Rapid Action Spot Zapper and Botanics Hydrating Eyecream as I find these to be really effective for my skin. In fact the Simpe Spot Zapper is the only thing I will use on my spots as I've found nothing else to work!
Onto my new night routine which previously was just a face wipe! First I cleanse and remove my make up with The Body Shop Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil (£10 here). I then tone with another famous product, the Pixi Glow Tonic (£16 here) which is a chemical exfoliant (great for my dry skin without being too harsh!) known for fading scars (see a common theme here?) Then I finish off with the Simple Light Moisturiser which I'm trying to use up then move onto a new night moisturiser; I'm considering the Gairner Moisture Match. And of course, the Simple Spot Zapper and Botancs Hydrating Eyecream.
Most of these products can be found on the high street and reasonably affordable, apart from a few obvious exceptions. I have seen an improvement in my skin already so hopefully things can only get better!
What new products have you put into your summer skincare routine?

This is what my skincare routine looked like before. In the morning I used the Clarins One Step Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser (£20 here) which I still love now but I think its becoming a bit harsh on my face and doesn't help to fade my terrible acne scars. I follow this up with the Simple Light Moisturiser (£6.99 here), Simple Rapid Action Spot Zapper (£5.49 here) and Botanics Hydrating Eye Cream Radiant Youth (£5.99 here). The new products I've introduced are a lot more gentle, hydrating and aimed at fading my acne scars. For reference my skin is dry all through the year.

Summer Haul
Another haul for you guys today. I could call this the 'beauty bloggers made me do it' edition because most of my purchases were made after seeing them on other peoples blogs.
Speaking of citrus scents I also received a Body Shop order on the same day as this little shopping trip which included the new Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet (around £9 but no link avaliable) which smells delicious and is cooling and hydrating, perfect for summer! I also got the Honey Bronzing Powder (£13 here) in shade 1 which seems to be a little light for me (never thought I would say that about a bronzer!) but is lovely. I'm going on a 24 hour flight to Australia over summer so picked up the Vitamin E Face Mist (£8 here) so hydrate my already dry skin whilst on the plane.
First up we have the Bourjois Java Rice Powder (£9.99 here) which is meant to be a great powder for providing a little glow to the skin whilst also setting make up. I got this on a 2 for £14 offer along with the 1 Seconde Volume mascara (£9.99 here) which is a new launch that I've heard great things about. So far I love it!
I also picked up the Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Liner in Black Shock (£8.99 here) after seeing it was similar to the new Benefit Push Up liner. It really is an interesting product which is growing on me. Maybelline also had an offer running, buy one get one half price, so I got the Fit Me Concealer (£5.99 here) which has been on my 'to buy' list for a while as it has been compared to the Nars Creamy Concealer. Lastly in this section is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Shadowstick by Kate in Rose Gold (£4.49 here) as it's been in quite a few June Favourites posts.
Next I bought two Soap and Glory products which I had seen quite a bit of hype about but also I needed a new body wash and scrub. I also love citrus scents so I thought the Orangeasm Body Wash (£6.50 here) and Sugar Crush Body Scrub (£8.00 here) would be perfect.
Thats all for now. What new products have you picked up for summer?

June Favourites
Firstly we have the L'oreal Glam Bronze bronzer in 06 Golden Bronze (£7.99 here) I love this bronzer as the colour isn't too orange or muddy, I also find it really hard to put too much on as it's easily blendable. There is a slightly shimmer which gives a slight glow but it's not glittery or greasy looking. Revlon Photoready 3D Volume in black (£10.99 here) which is a great everyday mascara, it really lengthens and separates. It can easily be layered to create more volume as well! L'oreal True Match Touche Magique in Rose Beige (£8.19 here) is my current go to undereye concealer. It's basically L'oreal's version of the YSL Touche Eclait but a lot cheaper. Although I'm not sure what the difference is between the Touche Magique and Lumi Magique apart from the latter only comes in two shades and has much prettier rose gold packaging!
Next we have two foundations which says a lot for the state of my complexion! The first is the L'oreal Lumi Magique Light Reflection Foundation in R/C/K1 Rose Pearl (£10.99 here) which I find gives great coverage, a nice glow but doesn't cling to my dry patches which a lot of foundations do. It also has great lasting power which I wasn't expecting when I picked it up! When I'm going for heavy coverage and a really long lasting look, like on a night out, I opt for the Max Factor Facefinity All Day Flawless 3 in 1 Foundation in Warm Almond 45 (£11.99 here). I really like the way this foundation sits and looks on my skin which is unusual for a long lasting foundation, my dry skin normally looks flaky and horrible! The shade I have is a tad a pale so I can't wear it when I fake tan but the shade up was too dark which was unfortunate.
Speaking of fake tan! Now that summer is (apparently) here I have been fake tanning quite regularly because I am blindingly pale. My favourite is the St Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse in Medium (£4.99 here) as it's hard to go wrong with this and a tanning mitt. I'm normally in a rush so I don't have time to faff about with tanning, with this mousse I can quickly apply it just before I leave if I need to! It does however look better after a few hours when it has developed. (I realised this after putting on too many layers on one leg and then when the tan developed it was super dark compared to the other leg! Oops!) The day before I tan I like to exfoliate and shave my legs if possible and to rehydrate my body after I use the Vaseline Spray and Go Body moisturiser in Cocoa Radiant (£4.99 here). This body lotion is super quick and easy to apply as well as drying super fast without leaving a greasy layer on the skin. Great for us rushed girls!
Well that's all my favourites for the month of June, what are yours?

PS: While writing this post I realised Boots need to sort out their website, the Lumi Magique foundation has the wrong picture! Sort it out Boots.
